Never Alone

It’s easier to train with a partner. If you could use some back-up, our mentors are ready.

“I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20b, NLT)

Spending time in the solitude of God’s presence is the greatest thing you could do in life. To be in God’s presence is to live in Heaven on Earth. In His presence there is fullness of joy forever more. Come and find rest for your weary souls. Come discover who you are. You have been created in God’s image, as you discover more about your Father, you are actually learning who you are as well.

As you learn to be alone with God, you will never be alone again! Sometimes when we are separated from friends and family, we feel like a child long for the embrace or comforting voice. But we need not go far because our Father is always hovering over us. He promises:

“I will never leave you. I will be with you always even to the end of the age.”

You never have to feel alone again. Your heavenly Father is not only with you, He has actually taken up residence in your very being! In the Old Testament He would visit people and His presence would “perpetually live in” earthly temples. But now He has changed residences moving from a building to permanently live in the temple of your heart.

He is with you always!! Never forget that. There are many important and even godly endeavours that we can do in life. But never get so busy that you are distracted from walking with your heavenly Father.  When this life ends you will be judged by how we spent our time on the earth. You will regret how you spent some of your time but you will never regret a moment spent walking with your heavenly Father.

To be alone with God is to live in eternity now.

Lord, thank you for today’s reminder that I am never alone. Thank you for that promise. Amen.

Question: Where do you go to spend time with God?
