9 Unless the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
11 “To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? ” saith the LORD. “I am full of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs or of hegoats.
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto Me. The new moons and Sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure. It is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts My soul hateth; they are a trouble unto Me, I am weary of bearing them.
18 “Come now, and let us reason together, ” saith the LORD. “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land;
20 but if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword”; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
21 How the faithful city has become a harlot! It was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers.
How the Fathers heart weeps over those who are living unfaithful, unsurrendered and compromised lives.
26 I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counselors as at the beginning. Afterward thou shalt be called the City of Righteousness, the Faithful City. “
27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
Our hope is in God’s great promise of future and final restoration on the earth.
1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:
Our hearts need to be so close to the Lord to see and understand His beautiful plan of restoration.
2 And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.
3 And many people shall go and say, “Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths. ” For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
5 O house of Jacob, come ye and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down; and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up–and he shall be brought low”
17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low; and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day,
18 and the idols He shall utterly abolish.
19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
20 In that day a man shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold ( which he made each one for himself to worship ) to the moles and to the bats,
21 to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.
Isa 3 Judgement of unfaithfulness.
God judgment is motivated by His divine mercy to lead His people to repentance.
8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen, because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of His glory.
13 The LORD standeth up to plead and standeth to judge the people.
14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders of His people and the princes thereof: “For ye have eaten up the vineyard, and the spoil of the poor is in your houses.
Isaiah 4 Future restoration awaits this earth when Gods people humble themselves repent and live a life of complete surrender.
1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, “We will eat our own bread and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by thy name to take away our reproach. “
2 In that day shall the Branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious; and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for those who have escaped of Israel.
3 And it shall come to pass that he that is left in Zion and he that remaineth in Jerusalem shall be called holy — even every one who is written among the living in Jerusalem —
4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning.
5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for upon all the glory shall be a defense.
6 And there shall be a tabernacle for shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.
Isaiah 5 the Lords heart is pleading with His people what more could have I have done to bless you and look after you.
Why have you rebelled as a faithless wife? I have loved you and poured out my very self for you. And yet you don’t even love or honor me!!
3 “And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, between Me and My vineyard.
4 What could have been done more to My vineyard than I have not done in it? Why, when I looked for it to bring forth good grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth beyond measure; and their glory and their multitude and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
15 And the lowly man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled.
16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God who is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that count darkness as light, and light as darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust; because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against His people, and He hath stretched forth His hand against them, and hath smitten them; and the hills did tremble, and their carcasses were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this, His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea; and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow; and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.
Isaiah 6 when your pride completely dies you will clearly see the eternal glory and splendor of the Ancient of days.
Pride is a disease that disorients reality making yourself seem vastly important and God pathetically small and insignificant. This is the worst type of disease of all!!
3 And one cried unto another and said, “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory. “
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5 Then said I, “Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. “
6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.
7 And he laid it upon my mouth and said, “Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. “
8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us? ” Then said I, “Here am I. Send me! “
their heart, and convert and be healed. “
11 Then said I, “Lord, how long? ” And He answered, “Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12 and the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13 “But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return and shall be eaten, as a teil tree and as an oak whose substance is in them when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof. “
14 Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.
15 Butter and honey shall He eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good.
13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts Himself; and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread.
14 And He shall be for you a sanctuary, but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, for a trap and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
17 And I will wait upon the LORD, who hideth His face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for Him.
18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwelleth in Mount Zion.
21 And they shall pass through it sorely beset and hungry; and it shall come to pass that, when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves and curse their king and their God, and look upward;
22 and they shall look unto the earth and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish, and they shall be driven to darkness.
2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
4 For Thou hast broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7 Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and upon His Kingdom, to order it and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
1 “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed
2 to turn aside the needy from judgment and to take away the right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!
3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? To whom will ye flee for help? And where will ye leave your glory?
4 Without Me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall under the slain. “
12 Therefore it shall come to pass when the Lord hath performed His whole work upon Mount Zion and on Jerusalem: “I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria and the glory of his high looks.
13 For he saith, “`By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom, for I am prudent; and I have removed the bounds of the people and have robbed their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man.
16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among His fat ones leanness; and under His glory He shall kindle a burning like the burning of a fire.
17 And the Light of Israel shall be for a fire and his Holy One for a flame; and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day,
18 and shall consume the glory of his forest and of his fruitful field, both soul and body; and they shall be as when a standardbearer fainteth.
A remnant will Return
21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return; the consuming decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall cause a consuming, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
24 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts: “O My people that dwellest in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian. He shall smite thee with a rod and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt.
1 And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him–the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD”
3 and shall make Him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD; and He shall not judge after the sight of His eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of His ears.
4 But with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked.
5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His reins.
6 “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Perfect peace. Complete restoration as in the garden of eden.
9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
10 “And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, who shall stand for an ensign of the people; to It shall the Gentiles seek, and His rest shall be glorious. “
12 And He shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.
15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian Sea; and with His mighty wind shall He shake His hand over the river, and shall smite it in the seven streams and make men go over dryshod.
16 And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people who shall be left from Assyria, as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.
1 And in that day thou shalt say: “O LORD, I will praise Thee; though Thou wast angry with me, Thine anger is turned away, and Thou comforted me.
2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid; for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; He also has become my salvation. “
3 Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation;
4 and in that day shall ye say: “Praise the LORD! Call upon His name! Declare His doings among the people; make mention that His name is exalted.
5 Sing unto the LORD, for He hath done excellent things; this is known in all the earth.
6 Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion! For great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee. “
2 “Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain; exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
3 I have commanded My sanctified ones; I have also called My mighty ones for Mine anger, even them that rejoice in My highness. “
The great and terrible day of the Lord and the day of vegenance of our God.
5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD and the weapons of His indignation, to destroy the whole land.
6 Howl ye, for the day of the LORD is at hand! It shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt.
11 “And I will punish the world for their evil and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold, even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
7 The whole earth is at rest and is quiet; they break forth into singing.
12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, who didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, `I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High. ‘
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? “That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of His people shall trust in it. “
5 And in mercy shall the throne be established; and He shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking judgment and hastening righteousness. “
1 Arise, shine, for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and gross darkness the people; but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.
The kingdom coming thru the Fathers army of light
8 “Who are these that fly as a cloud and as the doves to their windows?
11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night, that men may bring unto thee the wealth of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together to beautify the place of My sanctuary; and I will make the place of My feet glorious.
Not only Christ by also His body on the earth flooded with the Fathers glory. A picture of the kingdom of heaven fully ruling and reigning on the earth.
15 “Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
17 “For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood, brass, and for stones, iron. I will also make thy officers peace and thine exactors righteousness.
Total purification and sanctification from bearing the image of the first Adam earthly to the heavenly man.
19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day, neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee; but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.
20 Thy sun shall no more go down, neither shall thy moon withdraw itself; for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.
21 Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.
22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation; I, the LORD, will hasten it in his time. “
The people shall be righteous because my judgments are in the earth.
1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, because the LORD hath anointed Me to awaken and invite the meek into the kingdom of heaven.
The spirit is poured out to bring my judgments and teach the people my ways so all will be righteous and be able to inherit the “land” of my eternal kingdom.
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn,
3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified. “
Jesus proclaimed the first sentence and has called His hands and feet in the earth to continue Christs ministry on this earth.
6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD; men shall call you the Ministers of our God. Ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
8 “For I, the LORD, love righteous judgment; I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
Righteous judgment is simply when my people learn my nature and character and lead a life that reflects who I am. Righteous judgment is daily follow my ways of being right and holy. This is why I love judgment because you are honoring me and bringing my kingdom to the earth.
Without my judgments people perish because they do not know my ways and do not know me.
Verse 10-11 can only transpire when we truly learn and daily live in Gods righteous judgment.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall be joyful in my God. For He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation; He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
1 For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
The Father will not rest until His righteous judgments are in the earth. This is the consuming passion of the Fathers heart and this one sole purpose is at the very foundation of everything the Father has been doing in the earth from creation to this very day. Do you realize how desperately the Father longs for this? The Father is so intensely working unceasingly to fulfill this in the earth. This is the Fathers greatest yearning and those who know His heart live for this sole purpose. does this passion continually consume your heart? Or are you distracted and lulled asleep by the world and are at ease in Zion?
and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
3 Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
A new name people. Thru Christ we have become a brand new race of heavenly beings created in the likeness of Christ and very image of God. Iamgo deo.
6 “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day nor night. ” Ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
7 and give Him no rest till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Are you a watchman or have you fallen asleep at ease in Zion? Does your heart long for the Fathers kingdom to come and will to be done on this earth as it is in heaven? Is this the all consuming passion of your heart day and night?
Can you keep silent? Can a day go by without you crying out to God for His will to be done on this earth? Is so you are in a coma induced by other more important treasures that are in your heart.
Are you content and at ease? If so pray for a greater revelation of the Fathers heart because He is calling you to be a royal priest. As a priest of Gods kingdom He has called you to be a daniel of this generation to live in continual intercession for the Fathers kingdom to fully come to the earth.
Day and night. Continually and without ceasing this musty become our heartbeat.
As Daniel we must not rest or be content until the Fathers heart and will is fulfilled in this earth.
10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people. Cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
This life of prayer and intercession is the catalyst to fulfilling the Fathers heart. Not merely in word, but our entire lives must become a cry and prophetic proclamation prepare the way of the Lord.
The way of the Lord is prepared thru the Lords righteous judgments coming into the earth. Until righteous judgments of the Lord are in the earth the Fathers will and kingdom cannot be fulfilled in the earth.
The Lord will is only present in hearts who revere and cherish Him as King and are living according to His righteous judgments. The way of the Lord must be prepared. He is not coming for an unprepared unholy bride. He is coming for a holy and pure bride who has been fully prepared through learning the righteous judgments and heart of the Father.
Until the way is prepared Christ is retained in heaven UNTIL the restitution of all things.
2 chron 6-7
When we humble ourselves before the Lord, cleanse the temple of our hearts of idolatry of all other passions and seek the Lords Holy judgment first in our own lives and then corporately then the Lord will come suddenly to His temple.
call all my people together and
Prepare a holy fast (not external but of the heart). Let the priests weep for Gods righteous judgment to come to the temples of our hearts and put everything in order to prepare the way of the Lord fully coming to our hearts.
Then when the holy highway of Gods righteous judgment has been plowed and paved in our hard hearts uprooting all other obstacles, then and then can the Lord come to beautify and reside in His holy temple. 2 cor 6; rev 21
Gods righteous judgment prepares the way of the Lord by purifying His temple so the Lord come enter the temple of your heart and have sweet fellowship with you. As He resides in us and we beyond His face our entire being is transformed from glory to glory until it permeates your entire being and like a massive flood overflows out of your very being and the entire world is able to see the glory of the Lord rising upon His people.
11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world: “Say ye to the daughter of Zion, `Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with Him, and His work before Him. ‘”
12 And they shall call them the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and thou shalt be called Sought Out, a City Not Forsaken.
Judgment and the glorifcation of the temple also speaks of the corporate body of Christ in the earth coming together as Christs Holy bride and Holy City.
For six thousand years the Father has been homesick and looking for a place to live. Jesus said I have no place to lay my head.
The bride is the city, the home, the eternal dwelling place where the Lord has chosen to dwell forever. The OT temple is only a shadow of the true temple made without hands, the bride and body of Christ. When the Lord declared of the temple this is the place I have chosen and put my name forever He was actually speaking of the bride.
Just as we are homesick soujourners longing for our eternal home, the Father is longing for His house bride temple to finally be completely finished so He can finally come to rest in His eternal home.
We are living in the day of Solomon and must labor continually and unceasingly in pray for the Fathers holy temple to be complete.
1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah, this that is glorious in His apparel, traveling in the greatness of his strength? “I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. “
2 Why art thou red in Thine apparel, and Thy garments like him that treadeth in the wine vat?
The Spirit of judgment and burning comes to us in this hour to prepare our hearts urging us to continually yearn for the coming of the Lord knowing in that day we can stand blameless before the Lord. Only the righteous judgment of the Lord can prepare our hearts and give us this full confidence.
Judge yourself lest you be judged. Without the continual righteous judgment of the Spirit in your life your heart will not be prepared for the coming of the Lord and you will not be able to stand before Him blameless and with full confidence on that day!!
Without the Spirit preparing our hearts in righteous judgment we will put off the coming of the Lord instead of searching for it because without Gods righteous judgments we will be judged on that day.
8 For He said, “Surely they are My people, children that will not lie”; so He was their Savior.
9 In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them, and He bore them, and carried them all the days of old.
Where is He that put His holy Spirit within him,
12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with His glorious arm, dividing the water before them to make Himself an everlasting name,
Where are those who are fully surrendered and controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Thou, O LORD, art our father, our Redeemer; Thy name is from everlasting.
1 Oh, that Thou wouldest rend the heavens, that Thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at Thy presence–
4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, besides thee, what He hath prepared for him that waiteth for Him.
Righteous judgment awakens our hearts from spiritual coma to cry out and long for the Fathers will to be done and kingdom come.
7 And there is none that calleth upon Thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of Thee; for Thou hast hid Thy face from us, and hast consumed us because of our iniquities.
8 But now, O LORD, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our potter; and we all are the work of Thy hand.
9 Be not sorely wroth, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever; behold, see, we beseech Thee, we are all Thy people.
10 Thy holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised Thee, is burned up with fire; and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
12 Wilt Thou refrain Thyself for these things, O LORD? Wilt Thou hold Thy peace and afflict us very sore?
2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
Your preconceived ideas are the limiting factor from going deeper with God. What preconceived ideas are you holding onto that are preventing you from going deeper with God?
9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of My mountains; and Mine elect shall inherit it, and My servants shall dwell there.
17 “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock; and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, ” saith the LORD. “
All creation once again at peace in the Lords perfectly restored world.
1 Thus saith the LORD, “The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is the house that ye build unto Me? And where is the place of My rest?
2 For all those things hath Mine hand made, and all those things have been, ” saith the LORD. “But to this man will I look: even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word.
Who does God hear? Do you Gods complete attention and all of heaven divinely empowering your every step?
those who are poor in Spirit as a child completely dependent on the Father have the full attention of all of heaven.
4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them, because when I called, none did answer, when I spoke, they did not hear; but they did evil before Mine eyes and chose that in which I delighted not. “
This verse so powerfully illustrates the essential importance of a neutral heart. Demonstrated by Israel God will always give us the true desire of our hearts.
this both an sobering and most exciting realization. It is very sobering because desire is a most dangerous thing and the only thing that draws us away from God.
man is drawn away by his own desires
This is why true freedom and following Gods perfect plan for your life is not possible until every single desire has been laid down at the foot of the Cross.
The cross is not only a place of redemption it is also a place of surrender. Until every desire is fully laid down one cannot fully experience the joys of redemption.
A desire must be totally crucified and destroyed at the cross. For this is the only way such a desire can be properly and fully enjoyed.
Every pure desire once originated from the Father. For the Father Himself is the fount and source of all desire from which the streams of heart originate. The problem is this fallen world of sin has twisted and distorted all human desire. As a result our true desires have been confused for pathetic lowly earthly desires that cannot and were never designed to bring fulfillment to the human heart.
The condition of all humanity today only proves this to be true. Every human being is desperately searching the world over for any type of meaning and satisfaction. Yet to no avail. Just as one reaches the pinnacle of all that they thought would bring meaning they realize they have traded their life away for a fleeting cheap satisfaction that soon dissapates.
This is the great illusion and deceptive nature of desire. Desire is the great manipulator as “he” continually deceives the mind and controls ones life by promising he will set them free from their prison of unfilled desire. However desire himself is the great exorcist tempting weary souls to sell their souls promising the illusion of complete fulfillment and satisfaction.
However this could not be further from the truth because the human heart has been created for God and it is ever restless and completely unfilled until the soul finds its place in the Father Himself.
This is why all desire must be surrendered if there is any hope of it being expertienced or enjoyed. Until a desire is crucified it is only deceiving you to waste your life pursuing vanity. Desire in its fallen twisted and distorted state will only lead you further and further away from the fulfillment of such desire.
This is why we are exhorted to flee from all such desires and set our affections on things above.
In its original pure state your desires are twisted forms of what you truly desire. As with metamorphasis every twisted desire must be peeled back and disgarded to unearth the real and true heavenly desire at its core.
Ironically the only way to truly satisfy any desire is to surrender it and allow God resurrect it for the true pure desire at its origonal source. However laying down our desires you must realize you will never get them back.
Though this sounds scary and is certainly painful to have your heart of flesh exposed, severed and have pieces removed it is absolutely necessary to your survival and the only way you will be able to fulfill Gods perfect plan for your life. As we surrender more and more of our heart the Great Wise Surgeon removes all desires that will distract or deter us from heavenly goals and our earthly mission.
Other perhaps purer desires involving meaning, purpose and intimacy are transformed and refocused from their misplaced focus on earthly objects and resurrected to find their true fulfillment.
1. Desire must be crucified to be glorified
2. Pursueing unsurrendered desire is only leading one further away from its actaul fulfillment.
3. The Lord will always give you the desire of your heart. The amount your heart desires Him is the amount you will find Him.
All unsurrendered desires in your heart will only keep you from God and prevent you from experiencing true fulfillment.
